한국은 5월 8일이 어버이날이다.
이 날은 부모님의 은혜에 감사하며 카네이션을 선물하곤 했었다.
그렇다면 캐나다는 어버이날이 언제일까?
캐나다는 엄마의 날과 아빠의 날이 따로 있다.
엄마의 날인 Mother's Day는 5월 14일이고, 아빠의 날인 Father's Day는 6월 18일이다.
별다른 이벤트는 없고 주로 마트에서 엄마들에게 선착순으로 꽃 한 송이씩 나눠주는 이벤트가 있다.
그리고 이런저런 할인행사정도? 엄마에게 선물을 사주라고 세일하는 정도이다.
