경상수지 : Current Account Balance

 

국가 간 거래에서 재화와 서비스의 거래, 생산 요소 거래 등으로 벌어들인 외화와 지급한 외화의 차액.

 

이때, 우리가 해외에 수출한 것보다 수입한 것이 더 많다면 경상수지 적자,

          해외에 수출한 것이 수입한 것보다 더 많다면 경상수지 흑자 라 말한다.

예를 들어, 우리가 수출한 물건의 가격이 모두 70원이고, 수입한 물건의 가격이 모두 100원이라면 30원의 경상수지 적자가 발생했다고 한다.

Current account (balance of payments)

In economics, a country's current account records the value of exports and imports of both goods and services and international transfers of capital. It is one of the two components of its balance of payments, the other being the capital account (also known as the financial account). Current account measures the nation's earnings and spendings abroad and it consists of the balance of trade, net primary income or factor income (earnings on foreign investments minus payments made to foreign investors) and net unilateral transfers, that have taken place over a given period of time. The current account balance is one of two major measures of a country's foreign trade (the other being the net capital outflow)
